XIV Cohorts split off to try and escort the baggage train ‘around the action’
Sertorius seizes momentum and begins his advance

Rome responds and has equally poor rolls. This really hurts as sides are so evenly matched in these Civil War conflicts due to arms and tactics.
Forced from the field!
Lines of communication become tricky.
ughhhh.. those 2s are gunna hurt.
Whilst Sertorius boldly leads from the front, his men look on, and fight on, despite losses they see him rout another unit from the field.
The Roman Allied Gauls arrive to do damage too little too late.
With reinforcements approaching rapidly Sertorius and his men fight on grimly.
Romes forces fail on the day, and Sertorius looks forward to his next engagement with the pup Pompey.
